Before the children of Israel embarked on a dangerous journey through the wilderness, facing enemies, hunger, and uncertainty, God commanded His leaders to bless His people. He went before them with assurance, favor, and protection. This blessing was not earned—it was given from God’s initiative.

    n
  • God’s blessing is a pronouncement, not a petition.
